Stacks of games

We just got to spend over $650 in games at lunch today. It's kind of surreal to be looking at a stack like this, but I don't mind!

Let us know how the Portal experience is. Sounds like the next best thing to the Zork trilogy.

Man... what a job...

I see you have World In Conflict there. Tell me what you think of it. I saw some trailers for it and a podcast about it. Looked pretty good. Of course I havent even finished Dawn of War yet... so I'm not going to buy it any time in the near future :)

@Kelvin:

Check out the Flash/2D version of Portal:

It's pretty fun. I've made it up to level 15 I think, but I'm currently stuck.

@Mike: I wish I had time to play all these games! A lot of them we use for benchmarking our gaming systems/high end graphics cards...and a little game now and then!

@Keith:

A friend of mine (in the lab) who plays a lot more than I do has only good things to say about World in Conflict. The control scheme is very well thought out, and it is hard for him to go back to other RTS's after WIC.

I started playing Portal this weekend...it's AWESOME!!! It's so familiar (1st person shooter), yet so original (novel in concept and execution). Two thumbs WAY UP! The robot voices are HEE-HAW-kinda-funny.

I know! There are some great lines in it too.
