The metro

The metro system is totally automated. You walk up to a wall, select your destination, pay, and you receive a metro card. You wave it over the turnstile and it lets you in the station proper. Once in, you find your train, which is pretty easy with the maps all over the place and the monitors telling you when a train is coming. Changing lines requires waving the card on another turnstile, and when you get to your final destination you can turn in the card for $1 back.

The metro itself is standard fare, very clean and air-conditioned, sometimes very crowded.

I saw this sticker on the inside of one car, and I haven't found out if it is real or not:

Oh, snap! I was looking for a link to explain durians, and I found the Wiki entry, and it has the image of this sticker! Here is an excerpt from the article:

... its odor is best described as pig-shit, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock. It can be smelled from yards away.
The unusual odour has prompted many people to search for an accurate description. Comparisons have been made with the civet, sewage, stale vomit, skunk spray, and used surgical swabs.
So, I guess this begs a few questions. I've had some dried durian. The smell is pretty bad, although probably not as bad as fresh durian. The taste.... Well, I didn't think it tasted that great, but maybe I need to try some fresh.

I was actually watching a show once on the Travel channel... The guy's job was to travel the world and eat local cuisine. He ate some TRULY nasty stuff by American standards.

A bite of durian was the only thing he gagged on, spit out, and couldn’t eat. :)

I’ll pass. Give me some good ole Texas BBQ instead please!

I'm trying to find some dried durian to bring home...if it can pass customs.
